Introduction to the literature

The applications of the surface plasmon technique are almost limitless. Several reviews and numerous publications show what is possible. In addition, all the manufactures of SPR-machines give their own applications in brochures and websites.

Many publications exist addressing the technical and experimental aspects of the SPR technique. Because of the various types of sensor chips a special tab is provided. In the applications tabs, some of the main applications are grouped together. Therefore, I will not give an extensive overview on what is possible but give some hints where to find the information.
