Hi Everyone,
I'm having some difficulty with blanks - when I'm injecting blanks (and also for start up injections) I see curvature that looks like binding. See attached images of Fc1 (blank) and Fc2 (a kinase domain). The buffer is identical (running buffer, blanks, start ups) and consequently the blank subtractions (of known binders) show no, or negative, binding.
I'm using HBS-P on an S200, with Series S SA chip.
Any help would be much appreciated!
Thanks
Dan

Hi,
I would recommend to clean the system and check the injection system because the high jumps are not normal. In addition, the wavines during analyte injection indicates that the injection is not nice and smooth. After cleaning you can check again the buffer injections (with a system check sensor chip) or even with some added salt (check the best results chapter).
Let us know what you find.
Kind regards
Arnoud
