Hello. I have been seeing a consistency in spikes in Flow cells 3 and 4. Flow cell 2 show no spikes. I have been seeing this in all my cycles and seems to reproduce consistently, FC2 showing no spikes. Running on T100. What would cause this?

Hi,

In general this is due to the fact that the channels are in sries. When there is a bulk difference between flow buffer and sample this results in a jump. The software tries to align the curves but this is not absolute exact and this results in small spikes up or down (or large in case of large buffer jumps).
