Stability a NTA CM5 sensor chip was created by Brendan823
I am starting a project that will be utilizing a BIAcore X100 and due to the nature of the project, there will be a 6-7 week gap between using the instrument. My question is how long will a NTA CM5 Sensor chip remain functional when stored under the "wet storage" protocol?

The sensor chip should be still functional. I advise to strip all of the bound 6x-HIS protein of the chip and if possible reload the Ni before storing the chip. In addition, you can add some preservative in the storage buffer, e.g. 0.02% NaN3.
