Dear colleagues,

We have purchased from Sigma Aldrich silica-shell Au NPs of 20 nm dispersed in water (absorption maximum ~ 526 nm). We have the amount of 5 ml with concentration of 8.5*10^11 particles/mL. We would like to coat a glass/quarts surface with NPs to have further interaction with green laser light at 532 nm.

Could you please advise what concentration of our NPs we have to use for the solution to rinse our glass surface? May we expect next to obtain detection of the NPs absorption with UV-VIS spectrometer from the glass surface?

Working in the field of optics and making my very first step dialing with Au NPs I lack of experience in that and I will be really thankful for your advises.

Dear Dimitar,

I think that this question is too technical fort his forum.
You can better try Research gate.
