Nanoparticles in a SPR device? was created by JVanb
Hello,
Does anyone of you have experience of injection nanoparticles in the flow system of an SPR device, and specifically binding these NP to target-functionalized SPR-chips?
Any tips about the ins and outs of these procedures?
Dangers of clogging the IFC, maximum NP concentrations, minimum flow rates, cleansing procedures after the assay?
Any tip is welcome!
Thanks in advance,
J

Hi,
Find here some references of the use of nanoparticles with SPR imaging. I hope this will be of interest to you.
Generally, NP are used to enhance the detection of SPR.
- Malic and al. (2011). Designed biointerface using near-infrared quantum-dots for ultrasensitive surface plasmon resonance imaging biosensors. Analytical chemistry, 83(13):5222-5229
- Vance SA and Sandras MG. (2014) Zeptomole Detection of C-Reactive Protein in Serum by a Nanoparticle Amplified Surface Plasmon Resonance Imaging Aptasensor. Scientific reports, 4:5129
Kind regards
