Air pressure and BiacoreX was created by OldForum
Hi
I was wondering how one goes about setting the air pressure for a BIAcoreX, it consistently gives a pressure of 2.6 (maximum required 2.4). Will this affect the sensorgrams?
Is it possible to turn it down?
Thanks
Earl

I dont have access to a Biacore X, but for the Biacore 2000/3000 series the air pressure is used for the valves which control the liquid flow through the IFC over the sensorchip. The liquid delivery and flow rate are controlled by the pump. I think you should not have any problems with a slight higer pressure, but check the next time the machine is serviced.
