Is it possible to measure the binding of nanoparticles to the protein using surface plasmon resonance? I searched the literature and little is published.
Thx,
eya

Hi Eya,

My concern is how big these particles are.
In Biacore type of machines, the penetration dept of the evasescent wave is ~300 nm.
You can look what is done on virus particles.

I am talking about 100 nm particles, this should be fine regarding the size. I am curious why there is so little published about nanoparticles/SPR since nanoparticles are quite hot topic these days.

If you talking about nanoparticles, do you mean artificial made or isolated from for instance plasma?
